libpoppler-glib8 software package provides PDF rendering library (GLib-based shared library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpoppler-glib8
libpoppler-glib8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpoppler-glib8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpoppler-glib8 *
You will get with libpoppler-glib8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
